On 1 March 2024, the Act Amending the Lobbying Register Act (Federal Law Gazette 2024 I No. 10 - in German) entered into force. The transition phase during which registered representatives of interests had to adapt their existing register entries to the new legal framework ended on 30 June 2024. Information about the particulars to be provided in the Lobbying Register can be found in the Handbook for representatives of special interests on making entries in the Lobbying Register (in German). The handbook has been completely revised.
