Beschreibung:
For the EU common market for electric mobility and energy to function efficiently while transforming both sectors to attain the EU’s net-zero emission goal, it is paramount that meter data can be exchanged freely in electronic form between all market actors across national borders within the common market in ways that are metrologically secure, privacy-preserving and suitable for the integration of small flexible devices. The current Measuring Instruments Directive (2004/22/EC), applies to household meters only, which record a cumulating meter value that is displayed locally. Therefore, the MID 1.0 does not meet any one of the above objectives. We detail consequences for eletric mobility and utility meters.
